Children learn by playing and talking with you
Every day brings small chances to talk and play together. Nara gives you ideas for what to say and do in those moments, matched to your child’s age.
Why we’re building Nara
Parents hear that time together matters, but rarely how to play, talk and set limits at each age, or how to build early reading and number skills long before school. The advice is spread across clinical sites, long articles and forums. We’re turning it into short, practical ideas you can use in the moment.
What we believe
Connection comes first
Children learn to talk, calm down and solve problems through warm back-and-forth with the people who care for them.
Ordinary moments are enough
Meals, baths and getting dressed are full of chances to play and talk, so you don’t need extra time or special toys.
Every child has their own pace
Milestones are reference points for what most children do. We never score or compare.
You don’t have to get it all right
No parent can respond to every moment. Pick one idea when it fits.
How we build
We start with published guidance on child development, speech and language, and positive parenting, then turn it into short conversation prompts for real situations. The words to try are written to follow what each source recommends.
